CLIENT: Saint Laurent
PRODUCT/BRIEF: Interpret Saint Laurent Spring 2018 Accessories into a four page advertorial for the ‘Privacy’ issue of RUSSH Magazine.
TITLE: ‘You Can Leave Your Shoes On’
IDEA: Statement accessories for the confident woman shown alongside the one whom they bewitch. Here the magnetised man is a feature, drawn to the female wearer of the accessories as if the product themselves were the magnet. A story about obsession for each other and obsession with “those boots”, those heels” and “that bag”. By referencing what occurs behind closed doors the accessories were communicated as lust worthy pieces for our most intimate selves. The slogan ‘You Can Leave Your Shoes On’ references the 1986 Joe Cocker song “You Can Leave Your Hat On” where the lyrics journey through a strip tease of everything but the hat. Here we say please leave those shoes on- they add to the sex appeal.
